All Things Are Possible - Breaking Barriers and Living Your Dreams
Living Purposefully means living with the cause of Christ in mind.
Jesus came to “seek and save the lost” (Luke 19:10). Therefore like
David we need to run to the battle and face our giants – giants within
and on the outside. By faith we shall conquer our circumstances and be
overcomers!
Through faith the weak will be made strong, the bound delivered, the bruised healed, and our dreams realized.
My stories from the Front Lines of Faith are many:
- 9/11 – NYC – Salvation Army – NYPD drove us into Ground Zero – Washington Park, Union Square
- tsunami epicenter, Indonesia – East Timor before granted national status by UN
- Rwanda / Burundi – 1.2 million slaughtered in a deadly genocide
- Pakistan which I visited twice after 9/11
- France (Don’t believe media propaganda – the French are spiritually hungry and open)
- Smuggling Bibles into China – the nations are hungry for the living Word
- India – casting out demons and praying for the oppressed
God said in His Word that He’s going to shake the heavens, earth, and all nations before the coming of the Lord! (Haggai 2:6-7)
We all are saved by grace through faith, but not many of us truly live
by faith. The apostle Paul wrote the Romans saying, The just shall live
by faith” (Romans 1:17). This is where selfless service begins Michelle.
Fear is self-centered and about self-preservation. Living a life of
love is selfless because perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18).
Faith and love work hand in hand because love believes all things.
Until you begin to live by faith, you truly have not begun to live.
Jesus died to liberate us and give us life abundantly so we can
mightily impact the earth not be crippled with fear and huddling in a
corner.
Living by faith means leaving the comfort zone, being led by the Holy
Spirit, relinquishing control of your own life and letting Christ in
you be preeminent in all things and mightily flow through you by His
Spirit at any given point and time.
As the apostle Paul purposed in the spirit, so too this is how I have
decided to live purposing to be sensitive to the guidance and direction
of the Father by way of the Holy Spirit (Acts 19:21). Such guidance
comes through the voice of God, as well as visions and dreams (John
16:12-13; Acts 2:17).
Furthermore silence from heaven simply means we are to obey the written
Word, which fully and already tells us what to do to live victoriously.
If your life is boring it is not God’s fault that’s for sure! God is
always moving by His Spirit and eagerly looking for someone willing to
work with Him (Mark 16:20). Jesus said, “Go into all the world and
preach the Good News.” Two-thirds of God’s name is Go – and we who
calls ourselves Christians must do so! Mormons give 2 years of their
lives to go. What are we waiting for?
Spirit of faith (2 Corinthians 4:13). Door of faith (Acts 14:27). According to your faith be it unto you! (Matthew 9:29)
Create your world! All things are possible (Mark 10:27). I’m just crazy
enough to believe! Childlike faith in a great God can accomplish
wonderful things! (Matthew 18)
Living offensive, proactively, to impact society!
The Holy Spirit is our helper and companion in the work (Acts 5:32; Romans 8:26)
Great grace and great power was on the early church as they gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus (Acts 4:33).
Christ in you is the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). You therefore unashamedly let God arise in and through you!
Fear not! Be bold and very courageous! Arise and shine so God’s glory
can be seen upon you and fill the earth! Dare to believe and change
your world!
